I'm looking for open source projects that do not have a logo or need an update, this time I made a logo proposal to update the PlayerBase project and the owner accepted it.

Details.

PlayerBase is a highly simple video player, processor of complex business components. A decoder is needed to implement the abstraction of the frame definition. For the view, either the control view or the business view in the player, it can be composed. The development of the player is clear and simple, which is more conducive to the iteration of the product.

These were the logo proposals delivered in its first plane to the project owner, and this was chosen for its simplicity and greater visibility than the last logo.

Benefits/Improvements.

  • From the beginning my personal task was to make a simple but striking logo, so I characterize this design.
  • This logo has been a resource that changed the visibility of the project on the WEBSITE PlayerBase.
  • An icon logo was provided for the updates in the android applications.
  • The greater use of this logo will be seen in the operating systems android, since it is a video player and meets the necessary minimalist characteristics.

    • To be considered for potential reward, logos should be delivered in a vector file (e.g. .eps/.svg/.pdf) for flexibility and scalability, as well as .png file format for immediate use of the logo.
