It informs the client what specific information is collected, and whether it is kept confidential, shared with partners, or sold to other firms or enterprises. The benefit of Privacy Policy is that it helps to instill more confidence in the prospective site visitors/users and give users an idea of what to expect and what not to expect on the site.
