Atom is the best text editor for developers?

When we dedicate ourselves to programming, generally it is a constant learning, new programming languages, new techniques, resource centers that could be useful, in some cases of work environments that help your programming, but we already know that it is not easy, because the work requires a certain degree of expertise, and all this could be easier, faster and more efficient, the more resources that help us have available.

In that eternal search for resources, intentional and sometimes not intentionally, I have found this text editor, which has been fantastic to me, Atom, because it has made my work easier in an impressive way and I also love it because it has two characteristics that are insurmountable together, it is totally customizable, with countless packages that can be embedded into it, and it is totally open source and free, I think it is worth knowing and give yourself a chance to try it, I'm completely sure you will like it.

But surely you will ask yourself, what makes Atom special as a text editor for programmers, if there are many and very good, because I will answer you in the simplest way possible, this text editor, for me or has everything integrated, ie you should not strive to integrate certain languages, or connect with other platforms like Github to review your work or do this in another way, and comes integrated once saving you time and configuration complications and all that.

"Atom is a desktop application created with integration of HTML, JavaScript, CSS and Node.js. It runs on Electron, a framework for creating cross-platform applications using web technologies.

But you will belong to a community full of collaborators where you will be able to share your code and receive recommendations or reviews from the other members of the community, this is without a doubt another outstanding advantage.

"Great things happen when developers work together, from teaching and sharing knowledge to building better software. Teletype for Atom makes collaboration on the code as easy as coding alone, directly from its editor.
Share your workspace and edit codes together in real time. To start collaborating, open Teletype in Atom and install the package.

This is one of the recommendations that appear on the Atom website, before I mentioned, that there are many packages that can help improve the experience of using Atom and also completely customize your work environment, with online collaboration and the possibility of working with several integrated languages to help you review the syntax among other things, believe it is quite complete.

Is Atom better than Brackets or Sublimetext among other text editors for developers?

Well my friends before answering this question I will explain a little as they are these editors I have mentioned below, the first place Brackets, which I quite like, is a text editor that you can use from your Internet browser, this means that it is not necessary to install but it is imperative that you are plugged to the Internet, personally in some cases I have not had an Internet connection.

I have been looking for inspiration in a park writing code while watching my children play and their mother run after them, and this for me represents a limiting, perhaps one of the biggest, and in the case of Sublimetex is extremely complete, is powerful powerful, very intuitive and has used it for a while, and I really like it although I find it a little complicated at first by the amount of things it brings, but it has something that eliminates it, well actually I cut myself, is paid, you can try it for a short time in a trial version, but then you will prevent access and claim their payment, this takes my chances, perhaps, for others this is the one they like most and are willing to pay, but before doing so I recommend you to try Atom, if you like.

Other more features that give greater support to the use of Atom as your personal text editor.

Atom brings us all the information about it from open source, ie everything you want to know about it and how to use it or you can easily find it, is installable on major operating systems, is available for Linux, Windows and MacOS, so we have no excuse in this sense we can use it on any of these systems, although I would like the developers to release an android version, but I'm not sure if they are already or are doing, otherwise this would be a fantastic idea, not to take the work everywhere, but if it would be helpful to be able to retouch something at the last minute from anywhere with just your phone, but that's another issue for another publication, if I can tell you is that Atom is the editor you need.

Also, as I mentioned earlier is able to help you with syntax and has a function of autocomplete, if autocomplete, as when you search in Google, and this writes for you what you are looking for, then and editor or does completing as syntax based on your programming style , the files that he has already programmed before in him and his language libraries, which are quite complete, so not only will you be able to count with online help while you need it, but he will always be helping you even if it's not necessary, you know, it's better to have that help and not need it, that he needed and not have it.

For all its features, for being free and open source, and for being able to customize it to any limit, I think Atom is worth a try.

The post is thorough, and well illustrated with screen captures. You made some good points, and I found it interesting.

However, it was difficult to read. You offer a link to a machine translation site to translate the Spanish article you shared, and I can't help but wonder if your own text was written in another language and translated using that same service. Because the sentence structure and grammar are all wrong, and make it much harder to read. Whether you wrote it in English or wrote it in a different language and translated it to English, this text could have really used another go-over to make it more easy to read.
