Task Specifications:

The scope of this task is to adapt (configure and modify) the existing BlockExplorer - SteemDB to work with a private blockchain with custom chain ID and assets.

a) Challenges:

The existing documentation of steemdb in https://github.com/aaroncox/steemdb describes running a local instance of steemdb that automatically connects to the public steem network.

To be able to connect the steemdb with a private steem blockchain network, some amendments to the code and configuration files are necessary.

b) Proposed Work Process:

Apply all the necessary code/config file amendments required to enable the existing BlockExplorer – SteemDB to work with a private blockchain with custom chain ID and assets. It will be tested with our existing private network to which you can connect.

Document all changes necessary in English.

Two (2) weeks from the date of candidate selection. Be sure to join our Discord channel for updates.

Rewards:

Rewards generated by this task request will be sent as Liquid STEEM to the task solver upon task completion and scoring.
