Promoting Telegram to Nigeria

Introduction

Telegram is trending as one of the most used messaging application worldwide, it is an open source application that has more advanced function than most messaging application. I chose to promote it in order to get more people to know about it and eventually use it.

Audience

The targeted audience were men and women within the ages 13-65. These includes workers, student of different levels and individuals with different interest. Major cities were selected to give the promotion better reach.

  • Location - Nigeria
  • Age - 13 - 65 years

Activity

I made a post on my Facebook page called Steemit support which i created to promote steemit and other open source projects to Nigeria. In the post not only did i describe Telegram, but also encouraged the audience to sign up. A link was left at the end of the post for more information and registration. The promotion started on 04/03/2018 and ended on 05/03/2018 which is 1 day. A total of $1.52 was spent on this promotion.

Result

The results of my promotion include a reach of over 6,013 people of which over 104 like the post and the post had over 600 engagements in total. Details are shown below.
