In the previous logo, it doesn't look like a good logo. Therefore I offer a new logo for the project owner.
Details
Lnotes is an Android app for the easy document, management, and retrieval. An open-source android scanner with the added functionality of assigning an image as a marker to your notes for easy retrieval. LNotes uses OpenCV for enhancing documents and comes with 5 different filters. For assigning a marker and scanning it to match with previous markers we use ORB image matcher with cached key Points to have insanely fast image matching.

Benefits / Improvements
This project deals with text scans using a camera. Therefore I added the scan icon, text, and initial LN from LNotes. I make this logo look unique, simple and modern.

Your logo design much better, improvement is obvious.
In my opinion elements on the logo design need to take more breath.
Here I made empty spaces bigger, I think it is seems more balanced now.
Also, logo design is not visible on the mock-up. Please provide it bigger next time!:)
