Follow the money is a tried and true primary investigative method used to determine criminal motives and thus identify and catch criminals. And, when applied it has an amazing rate of success. While it's true that crimes are committed needlessly with no money motive, there is almost always a power motive. Whether you're talking about a Jihadi who straps a bomb to his chest, running into a crowd of people screaming Allah Akbar, or a psychopath like Jeffery Dahmer who, receiving no monetary gain, systematically exercised supreme power as he raped and dismembered his prey. But one things for sure, where there is a crime committed there is a beneficiary of the crime and a victim. A winner and a loser.

Great video. Thought I heard all the "conspiracy theory" angles on the Vegas shooting until now. This is a very insightful and practical angle. Tragic events like these spark a lot emotion and finger pointing but following the money/power shifts truly is key to getting to the root. Thank you.
