in #venezuela6 years ago

Hi, I'm Diego Rosales, I'm 19 years old and I'm from San Cristóbal - Venezuela.
Today's post is about a collaboration to give 130 arepas to more than 100 people in the central hospital of my city.

The initiative starts with @Malos10 In its publication Thanks to steemit i can give food to homeless people
Because of this publication, I was motivated to help others and join Steemit and their community.

The arepa is a typical food of Venezuela, but because of the crisis is unlikely Get this food.
To obtain it, you need to get up and go to a tail or buy it at very high prices and not at all accessible to people with few resources.

They were used to make a total of 130 arepas and provide dinner to more than 100 people in great need at the central hospital.

The elaboration It was made by my best friends @untalsaul , @Malos10 and I.

At the end of making all the arepas we wrapped them and put them in a container so they could be to be able to transfer them to be given away.

We went to the Central Hospital of San Cristóbal with the arepas. That container was full, and there were more arepas in the handbag

Why go to that hospital and not go anywhere else?.

Because there are people coming to the hospital from different parts of the state, with many needs.

We go to the hospital, because several people have relatives who are operating them or doing a medical check-up, some people have weeks or days without eating any of their three daily meals.

When we arrived at the Hospital they received us like this :

When finishing the arepas that are in the container we decided to distribute the remaining arepas that were left in the handbag .

They come from a town called La Grita and they were in the hospital for 3 days and there was nothing eaten on that day.

Many people were helped and many more will be helped thanks to the support of this community
The people were very grateful.
