I feel that way too @bryan-imhoff and this is exactly what is good about online life. It lets us all connect and see we are all the same and want to just be happy and share. It is only the governments and those in power who want to make divides and sadly, despite being so easily connected now most people are 'connected' via owned sites that just tell us all the 'reality' we are meant to see...sad indeed.

My heart goes out to all our Venezuelan friends and Steemians. As an American I feel especially bad when I consider how my country loves to 'help' so many countries.
