Paraísos Venezolanos N°3: Parque Nacional Canaima / Venezuelan paradises N ° 3: Canaima National Park

El Parque Nacional Canaima, esta ubicado en el estado Bolívar de Venezuela; y fue decretado Parque nacional el 12 de junio de 1962, y declarado patrimonio de la humanidad por la UNESCO en el año 1994.
Debido a su gran tamaño (300 km²) es considerado el sexto parque mas grande del mundo.
En este parque podemos encontrar una fauna muy variada, entre sus especies están:
- Armadillo Gigante
- Perro de agua Gigante
- Oso Hormiguero Gigante
- Puma
- Jaguar
- Pereza de dos dedos
- Mono Viuda
- Mono Capuchino del Orinoco
- Marsupial endémico del tepuy
- Águila Arpía
- Guacamaya enana
- Cotorra morada
- Sapito Minero
- Iguana Caribeña
- Colibrí
- Diversas especies de Tucán
- Serpiente Cuiama-piña
- Diversas especies de Loro y Guacamayo.

The Canaima National Park is located in the Bolivar state of Venezuela; and was declared National Park on June 12, 1962, and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1994.
Due to its large size (300 km²) it is considered the sixth largest park in the world.
In this park we can find a very varied fauna, among its species are:
- Giant armadillo
- Giant water dog
- Giant Anteater
- Cougar
- Jaguar
- Sloth of two fingers
- Widow Monkey
- Capuchin monkey of the Orinoco
- Marsupial endemic of the tepuy
- Harpy eagle
- Dwarf macaw
- Purple parrot
- Sapito Minero
- Caribbean Iguana
- Hummingbird
- Various species of Toucan
- Cuiama-pineapple snake
- Various species of Parrot and Macaw.
