Stealing Oil and Gold or Shopping in Venezuelan Malls
As you can tell from this brief Max Blumenthal video in Venezuela -- he's been there a couple of weeks now -- life is hell and every bit as severe as Trump, Pence, Bolton, Pompeo and the monopolized US media have been telling us.

Is it any wonder why Trump professes "all options are on the table" for potential US-backed military intervention in Venezuela?
Clearly, the Maduro socialist form of government is not building malls fast enough and should not be using environmental regulations to prevent the wanton raping of Venezuela's precious mineral resources, hungered for by US, British and Canadian corporations.
Is it any wonder why Trump, Pence, Bolton, Pompeo, et. al., have used the CIA, Dept. of State and US media--maybe even private mercenary soldiers--to conspire to install a new president of Venezuela? Behold the Random Dude Known as Juan who only 20% of Venezuelans had even heard of when, in January 2019, he self-declared his presidency, the day after his phone call with US Vice President Pence?
Who is this amazing Random Dude?
Juan Guaidó spent most of his political career as an alternate delegate in Venezuela's National Assembly which became outlawed by Venezuela's Supreme Court for failing to obey a ruling of the Court. The Court declared it couldn't swear in several legislators who had rigged their respective elections. Refusing to yield, the National Assembly swore them in anyway and was declared defunct by the Court. Consequently, the National Assembly was replaced with new elections by the Constituent Assembly. Since, both have functioned as competing legislatures.
Guaidó eventually became a full delegate of the National Assembly in 2015 and became the Assembly's leader due to a rotational arrangement where different political parties rotate the leadership of the National Assembly with each new election. Originally elected from a small populous community of Venezuela, Guaidó wasn't even elected to the National Assembly presidency. He got there by rotational default--it was his political party's turn to lead the assembly. So he wasn't even elected for that role!
Is it any wonder America's oligarchy felt compelled to apply sanctions on Venezuela in order to inhibit and constrict its economic development and create hardships for a government operating completely contrary to the US policy of unfettered capitalism?
Is it any wonder why the US and the UK, literally, has now stolen Venezuelan oil and gold banking accounts.
Remember, America's Oligarch Enrichment Project really does not appreciate it when nations, such as Maduro's socialist Venezuelan government, decide to forsake the US petro dollar and begin trading on markets with the Chinese petro yuan instead of the US petro dollar.
I suppose the only mystery involved with this attempted coup is why are America's top Democrats are supporting Trump on this, and why the American people must so strongly be subjugated to propaganda instead of truth. Perhaps Senate Minority Leader Schumer and House Speaker Pelosi should go shopping in Venezuela and come back with an honest report for rank and file Democrats.
