    Fantastic writing, @jasonbu. I really appreciate this time capsule. My father (also @ducksaplenty's father) fought in the war, and it's very meaningful to get a glimpse of what it must have been like living in that time.

    Both my grandfather's fought in WWII. One on with the British, in Africa and other with the Royal Canadian Air Force. I was and am very proud of both of them for what they did and for their sacrifice.
