what its like to have anxiety disorder - an open letter to my community

Images property of @torico

Sometimes you just need to stop for a while and open up and let go all that is on your mind, to let the feelings flow and let everyone knows what is going on, this time it was the turn of @torico who issued an open letter to the communities on Steem about anxiety and mental health problems, using herself as an example she used this heartfelt letter to spread the awareness and raise the word about a problem that is really common in our society but unfortunately underlooked by almost everyone!

Hi dis is torico. I am a girl bunny puppy who has been on steemit almost two years now. I hang out in the pal discord server because it’s awesome. mostly i like to take strange photos, but I also like to write. poetry, short stories, essays, ideas on sustainability, and once in a while i write about my feelings and mental health issues. I have mild autism spectrum issues, from childhood, which manifest in introversion, anxiety, depression, and other social issues. this might make me seem like a freak, but if you met me i’d seem kinda plain and quiet. Well until you get me talking about politics and the environment. I’m pretty open about my emotions because somewhere along the line I realized that people who don’t have experience with mental health issues don’t understand what that’s like. And the best way to help them understand is to talk about what happens inside my head and body, to educate people about the realities, frustrations and fears. A lot of my writing, photography and poetry is emotion based, because sometimes the way to discuss something difficult is to encapsulate it in art. - @torico

Her blog is what you can call as a museum of feelings, she takes what is in her mind and her emotions to make them visible to everybody going through her blog, lately she's been exploring nature and feelings as a whole, if you like everything wholesome and full of feelings this blog will be the one for you!

Funny commercial - my first attempt to create viral ad.

Images property of @bescouted

Undertaking a video clip is a magical experience and this time @bescouted not just wanted to make a video but to make it viral, his weapon of choice? Humor, making a funny video is the easiest way to make something viral and this shot at it is really clever and with a quality not often seen in the platform, let's pray to the gods of randomness that the viral wish is fulfilled!

Creating a viral video is nearly impossible, with all the brightest minds in the world working on it, no one has yet has cracked this tough nut. While there are some elements that such videos have like, it has to be funny, or people have to connect with it on a personal level, or it has to have elements of nostalgia, no one can guarantee that a video with such elements will go viral. And even when it does not, working on such a project while having complete creative freedom and getting paid for it is awesome. Just one of the perks being a freelancer. Idea for this short clip is that you should choose a mineral water that is stronger. For some legal threats i can not disclose full plot, it kind of has to be guessed, and it is much more easier for local Lithuanians who know the market and current brands :) - @bescouted

A great photographer, visual artist and Steem pioneer founder of BeScouted, you can find most of his material in the platform, his projects big and small are shared here for everyone to see them showing how the blockchain can be a place to share everything with everyone, in his case photography and film is the focus.

Paranoia. Pen drawing.

The beauty is in the details and @achristopherart is the master of details, however, this is a piece of art that wants you to feel claustrophobic, anxious and paranoid, this Clusterfuck as the author wants to refer to it, is called Paranoia, it depicts several fears and common phobias all crammed together to make that nervous effect in the artwork!

Here we go again with another clusterfuck of a piece. I used magnifying glasses to draw this one. I originally wanted to do a drawing of common fears, some of those are still in here, but I decided to get a bit nutty. - @achristopherart

A pen and paper artist with a really unique way to express and depict what he sees and feel in this confusing world, mostly in form of chaotic and crammed pieces full of tiny details and some grotesque elements to fill the little spaces of his already little pieces, his blog is like a tiny black metal paradise!

Toccata in G major (Toccata en sol majeur) - Théodore Dubois

Images property of @contrabourdon

The organ is often of the most complicated but beautiful instrument to play, @contrabourdon brings us a piece composed by Théodore Dubois an almost 8 minutes long journey through the most melancholic and emotional notes amplified by this great instrument and performed cleanly by this great interpreter!

The Toccata is from Douze Pièces pour orgue ou piano-pédalier (1889) and is perhaps one of the most well-known of his works. The piece makes for an excellent postlude or recital work due to its joyful nature and major tonality. - @contrabourdon

James Flores is an amazing musician and organ player that started his Steemit journey in February of this same year, and even if he still has really few contents on his blog he already shows great promise as a content creator, musician and steemian.

TRANSFORMATION COMPLETE - Gardening

Images property of @thebigsweed

Renovation and outdoor projects are always a challenge but the results are always satisfying and fulfilling and this last post is the long story of how that work ends and the results flourish in the hands of @thebigsweed who poured tons of hard work into his gardening project!

With all of the boxes and tables constructed it is now time to transform this area into a more manageable garden. As you can see in the picture, this area is a mess. The biggest problem is that the boxes are on the ground, and that requires a lot of bending and kneeling to maintain this area. Another major problem is, with the boxes being on the ground the slugs have a feast. All pests in our garden are eradicated mechanically. The slug problem is addressed every morning by going around and snipping them with a scissor. Raising these boxes off of the ground will solve both issues, bending and kneeling, and the slugs. - @thebigsweed

Outdoor projects, DIY and Food Fight Friday's are the main thing in the platform life of these authors, from gardening to woodworking, Robin and Bob rarely stop to do something aside from their passion, each of their posts are lengthy stories full of their personalities, if you're looking for a blog that resembles a home, look no more.
