RE: Why do some people blame video games for mass shootings?

in #video5 years ago

The very simple truth? Well, it would seem that people, mostly parents, don't want to take responsibility for anything bad that happens. You know, like when their kid takes a gun to school and kills a bunch of classmates? Mom and Dad never taught the kid how to whoot a gun, so it must be a video game.
Somewhere along the line the "responsibility trust" was lost and people today are growing up with no regard for the rights of others nor of other people's property.
Let's take this to the next logical step and ask the "Money Mongers" why is it necessary for families to have 3 or 4 incomes to get by? Why are both parents required to leave their children alone and hope that someone else will teach the child respect? How about "honor"? How about "responsibility" for one's own actions?

Definitely fair points there. The worst mistake perhaps was allowing government to educate kids. Their schools are indoctrination centers to teach students to worship government and authority. It takes away their critical thinking skills and makes them emotionally immature. Parents should never send their kids to government run schools. Parents used to be directly responsible for their kids education or they would send them to private school. They took responsibility and didn't take kindly to other people telling them how to parent their children. For many years now however, parents have been brainwashed into thinking they need to send their kids to public school to get socialization and to be successful. Then kids with mental illness are bullied and mistreated and that sets them down a path of violence. The liberty minded must educate the rest of the world. There is no reason to politicize anything.

@proudcappie117, most def brainwashed. however I went to a public school when schools were for the betterment of a society. Parents took responsibility for the raising of their children and was very strict, usually, about respecting ther people's property. Then the first "serious" recession hit since the depression of the '30's and all of a sudden, we went to a 2 income family structure. Responsibility for teaching the children "respect and responsibility" went to the underpaid teachers (yeah, not a new thing) who couldn't spend the necessary time so the 2 "r" s went by the wayside.
I really can't remember when the "Fluoride" began being added to the water supply, but in the 1950' the U.S.Army found a chemical that would weaken the mind and allow suggestion. There was an ancillary benefit that was passsed on to the general public as it had the ability to strengthen the enamel on your teeth. On the outside of the packaging for "Sodium Fluoride" clearly states "for external use only, for accidental ingestion call,, " and they list the number for national poison control. Now, it is given, daily, to every man woman and child in America that is on municipal water systems.
Keep up the good fight! never quit! Mitch, out
