Adventure Trail up to the Haferfelsen - Palatinate Forest

We are back in the Palatinate Forest and this time we are in a region called Dahner Felsenland. In the Dahner Felsenland are 16 castles or castle ruins and we have been to some of them already, like the Wegelnburg or the Trifels Castle. This region is also known for the numerous sandstone rock formations which are sometimes used by climbers and of course the many beautiful hiking trails. Today we explore an adventurous trail that leads us all the way up the mountain to the Haferfelsen, a huge sandstone cliff from where you have an amazing view on the region and the castle ruin Altdahn.
