Looking For Friends In Pokémon Go

I have been trying to defeat my boredom as much as possible this summer since I am still waiting for my hip replacement surgery and I am not able to hike and travel right now. Video games, movies and music are the only weapon I have against my enemy of mine so it seems. I started this Pokémon Go account several years ago while I was hiking along the Mountain to Sea Trail going towards the outer banks of North Carolina. The GPS is amazing and it kept the trail perfectly in front of me, even in the less traversed areas that are often over grown with tall weeds and small trees.

It is a fun game for a short time here and there and sometimes I don't turn it on for months at a time...while other times I am almost daily with the phone in my hand catching, evolving and powering up my Pokémon.

I only have a couple of friends who I send gifts to and I have never been able to trade Pokémon and I am hoping that I can get a few more friends from this post. My trainer code is below for anyone interested in playing.
