10 million people, 7 million scooters!

I work in place where I have to pass by District 1 (main tourist district in Saigon Vietnam) before reaching home. Tonight, 23rd Dec 2017, is one of worst night I've seen so far when it comes to traffic condition. It seems that half of the population are in this area trying to pre celebrate Christmas even though 73% of them do not believe in Jesus Christ and only 6.8% are Christians!
My Vietnamese co workers and students happily greeted me Merry Christmas but at the same time, they all said they hated this occassion .....hmmmm
Thinking about cognitve dissonance.
