Fun, Interesting and Entertaining Websites You May Not Know About!

In this series of posts I'm going to share some websites that I have found over my years of searches that can make life a little easier, entertaining, or just a fun waste of time! I hope you gain as much information, laughter and help as I have, enjoy!

Today's site is VirusTotal

VirusTotal is another site by Google. You can upload a file from your computer to the scanner and it will scan the file with almost every virus scanning software available, 70 plus softwares.

When you sign on to VirusTotal you have options for scanning, files, and urls.

When you select the scan file option your down load folder will pop up on the screen, select the file you want to scan and double click on the file, then VirusTotal will scan the document returning a detailed report of the findings.

When you want or need to check the safety of a website, all you do is type in the url and wait for the results.

In this example I scanned steemit.com for any issues, I'm happy to say there are none and steemit.com is a trusted site!

The best part of VirusTotal is its FREE, now you can keep your computer safe at no cost!
