I think using social media is a key factor in increasing the popularity of Dtube for users outside steemit beta.

BUT
This also brings up the issue of WHY should someone not integrated with the steemit platform should indulge in Dtube? Is it the quality of content? Is it the quantity of content? Is the mere profit one can make from Dtube?
There isn't enough material yet on dtube to excite others to come in and join the dtube community. There are a lot of questions to answer in this regard.
I believe once the sense of community and family becomes strong it will be more interesting for others to join and be part of the dtube world.
