RE: Vocab-ability–183 (plac, pleas = pleasant, favorable) – A More Powerful Vocabulary (earn UpVotes with “Vocab Practice” exercise)

in #vocab-ability6 years ago

MY VOCAB PRACTICE:

  1. Please.
After her mother gave birth to his little sister, the little boy is very pleased to see his little newborn sister at the nursery room.

  2. Pleasant.
Going on a one-day cruise journey at the Rhein River was a very pleasant day of event to partake in.

  3. Placid.
Taking a hike on top of the mountain can give some people a placid feeling of spiritual comfort and solitude.

  4. Complacent.
Sometimes we can be complacent when things are going smoothly and thinking nothing can go wrong, until it smack you in the face.

  5. Placate.
It can be difficult and worrisome to placate a colic baby.
