APPRECIATING THE LITTLE ONES!

in #wafrica6 years ago (edited)

Children are beautiful gifts from God, when you stay with them, you would learn to love and appreciate them.

Some persons don't even know how to cope with kids staying with them alone.

That is because if you don't have patience you wouldn't cope.

They can be annoying, i mean very annoying to the core that you may feel like slapping or beating them.

This is because they are still very tender and can't even differentiate wrong from right.

Haven't you noticed that the child may tend to do the things you do, this is because they watch with their eyes and they observe, they are able to read meanings but can't interpret.

They are blank slates, whatever you inculcate in them is what you see.

Being very tender their eyes is the most active out of the five sense organs.

That's why even when you talk to them, they hear but don't understand.

Is hard for you to tell a one year old child "Baby go and bring your plate and she understands what you are saying".

She hears but may not understand unless with signs.

Before and till that stage, she can only understand things that you have said repeatedly on a daily basis.

But it's very easy for you to dance and a child follows you to dance or you clap and the child follows, or you smile and they do likewise.

That is why, some of the things you don't want to expose your child to, you don't do it in their presence as their eyes captures it and you may see the child the same day or the next exhibiting such.

They can do crazy things like pouring water into their food, scattering things all over the house, tearing your book, refusing to eat anything, not allowing you do anything etc.

But then when you don't understand that it's normal and its been exhibited by every other child out there, you get so angry and want to beat the child or ignore him or her.

Do you stay with kids??

Have you ever asked whether you did worst than them at your own tender age?

Yes you did give your mom headache, and maybe even worst than that little child.

Just let them be, it's normal and it's their time.

As they grow and start understanding things and how everything works, there comes a difference in their attitude too.

In all, learn to appreciate the little ones!

Nice Job. 👍

I have a kid and nephews and gosh I can relate to how mischievious they can be!

One time, my then 3-year-old nephew poured water into my cup of very expensive loose powder then proceeded to draw cartoon characters on the wall with my equally pricey lipsticks.

When I saw his 'works' ,I screamed. I didnt know if I should kill him or kill myself for leaving them lying carelessly about.

He took one look at my face and took off. He didn't understand what my scream was about but something in him told him aunt was angry and he was the cause.

I still love him to bits though, and I always will.

Hahahahahahahahahaha, after they will keep innocent face

As in ehn! You will now feel guilty when you punish them.

Lol, children always make me laugh, my little nephew that is about 6 years old quickly picks things you say, like akpurapkumbe. My little niece(4 years old) will always threaten me that she will give me slap. Lol they are quite fun to be with.

Hahahahahahahaha
