Times over times humans have been known to move from a place of their abode to somewhere new and different just to gain an exciting experience. We all want to see new places, experience new cultures, meet different people, taste dishes and fall in love with a different and serene environment.

Travelling has been in existence for a long time and it has different purposes. Yes we all have different purposes for travelling and some of the purposes includes;

Religious purposes: most Muslims and Christians travels to their respective holy sites every year to experience pilgrimage and they believe it is the perfect place to seek God’s eyes and get speedy response to prayers and requests.

Tourism: working through the year, it is normal to want to go out and have a certain rest and most times we pick places that are different and far from our places of abode due to the fact that we want a change of environment. In most countries of the world, the summer month is the period where they travel or go on vacation and tour around countries mostly countries with beaches and enough sunshine to tan or do whatever.

Work: yes, people have traveled for work related purposes, sometimes to better one’s lot or chances in life. We move to a new place and start work there. Expatriates and workmen have been known to travel from their country to take up new jobs in different countries and earn a substantial sum of income and other benefits.

Education: Most people travel to different places to seek good and quality education for their own personal improvement, development and growth. Sometimes, they even get a certain form of scholarship that makes it look so enticing to them and they don’t want the offer to waste.

All these are some of the reasons people travel from time to time. Travelling has been one of the major reasons for the exchange of languages, cultures and foods. Without travelling we wouldn’t have known about the next best landscape or the best water or just about anything about a different environment on earth.

Travelling aids employment and it’s one of the largest employers of labor.

Travelling is education.
