LIFE and SUSTAINABILITY
There are many theories of sustainability that people have come up with just to make sure that humans live a thriving and prospering life on earth. All these theories existed because people really want to make sure that life is lived to the fullest.
So sustainability has been the major pursuit of people, organizations and nations. People desire to deploy an idea and see it thrive even when they are not there to make things happen. A leader wants to set his/her nation on a part of perpetual prosperity and security.
And the big questions remains: how?!
Although people ask these questions and come up with answers that are working or not, there is a very simple approach to living LIFE sustainably.
Do you remember MRNIGERD? Yeah! We were taught in elementary science that there are characteristics of LIFE and they are:
MOVEMENT
RESPIRATION
NUTRITION
IRRITATION
GROWTH
EXCRETION
REPRODUCTION
DEATH.
I dare to say that any entity that wants to be sustainable must take into account the characteristics of LIFE to become a sustainable one. Study these characteristics carefully and apply them to your noble ideas and projects; apply to the leadership and governance of your country or nation and you will see the magic.
LIFE is naturally SUSTAINABLE if we are carefully enough to maintain the integrity of its characteristics.
