UNITED WE STAND AFRICA ( LET'S LEARN FROM THE ANTS)

I remember when l was a little boy, mama always say to me "you can never survive in an isolation". Even if you don't have to think like everybody, you have to act like everybody." This never made a lot of sense to me as a little boy. As I grew with the passage of time and gaining my conscience, I understood and came to the realisation that l can never survive in an isolation, I truly need to mingle with some people to achieve my goals in life.

As a geographer who always love to explore his environment, i try to look around to know how the environment can influence my life positively. Then i discovered that one of the things that God has created and blessed us with is the "ANTS". I try to study the Ants, the kind of love and unity they shared in their kingdom.

On a sunny afternoon, i decided to take a pie and cold coca cola for lunch. During the process, some pieces of pie dropped on the floor and 3 minutes later, i saw an Ant moving around in search of food. Fortunately, the Ant came across some of the pieces of pie which is too big for the Ant to carry.
After struggling very hard to carry the food, some Ants joined in the process to transport the food to their hole. Immediately, i remembered this saying that "United we stand, divided we fall." The Ants with the kind of love and unity they shared were able to carry the pieces of pie to their hole.

I CHOOSE ANT AS MY ROLE MODEL WHEN IT COMES TO;

  • LOVE AND UNITY

My role model of all time is Ant when it comes to love, the Ants are the first to recorn with and this has brought unity to their kingdom. There is this Africa popular saying that "The Ants unite together to build their house." I.e you will never see one Ant trying to build a house (Ant Hill), they do it collectively.

  • RESPECT

Ants also show respect for one another in their kingdom and this can be seen in the kind of ruling system they pratised. I called it monarchy system of government. They have the King and Queen, Soldiers and Workers and everyone carries out their duties honourably without any complain.

  • PREPARATION

Ants are very wise to the extent that they gather their food in the dry season, eat some and save the rest against raining season. That is why during the raining season, you will never see any Ants moving around because they know the implication to their life.

Bringing it down to we humans, we need to learn and inculcate a lot from the Ants in terms of;

Love
Unity
Respect
Preparation
Hardworking

As these help us in all aspect of life and to achieve greater things, let us;

"LEARN FROM THE ANTS."

Unless you really do not understand the analogy of how Christ linked the story of ant to our daily endeavour.The most powerful message apart from being wise that I have always learnt from the ant is their ''sense of communication"...the the most reliable way to ensure progress in all your dealings..Silence kills.. Communicate with others and be exposed to the best you deserve..thanks to @wafrica for exposing this truth to us through you @oxygen02.

As little as the ant we can learn a lot about the importance of community, they work hand in hand to ensure that they succeed. All steemians should be like the ants, remembering that the steemit is not just about the money but also a service to community. @wafrica thanks for this beautiful reminder!

And thanks for passing through too @preshey

Steemit turns us into ants, we have to work together to be grow faster and build better communities. This is indeed a great time to live, can’t wait to see what we shall build together. I love the analogy to ants.

I liked your comment, your point of view is incredible, all united as a family we are growing up holding hands! Grays @leggy23

It might be a very small creature. But it has greatness for everyone..thank you buddy

Beautiful write up!!!!

I laughed when you said ants are your role models, but I have to say it makes plenty sense’

Hahahah... You can make ant a role model too only if it fits for that..this makes lots of sense bro..good to see you

Yeah. Just unconsciously how people take lions and eagles as their role model.
