Wintry Wednesday Walk

Join Me for a Walk Wednesday
I went out for a walk in the bitter 25 degree weather with my son Ben @silver314. His is actually getting in to Steemit and posting so feel free to give him a follow and I am sure he will follow you back :)
The streets had a thin sheet of snow in places, but they had dumped some salt on which really helped!

There were tiny berries (?) that look like this. They may be small, but really bring the color to the woods!

Here is an interesting find. A leaf that was the only one around! It looked to be newly formed actually!

Those red berries really stand out - I wonder if some bird or other animal will eat them?
You really caught some beautiful nature shots this week. I am pretty sure having some competition along drives for better pictures. The berries came out really really nice that new Leaf really surprised me. It looks like it was thinking about spring and got caught in snowstorm.
Well, there will be no catching up with you now in the nature Department. There is so much Beauty in the demise of things, isn't there?

Yes well he steals all the good shots but it is nice to have some company. He has to make it a point to get out and get some exercise. I really need to as well.

One thing about wintry weather even though it takes away a lot of the color the bits of color that remain really pop out

Yes and the cold keeps the walks short but at least it is good exercise.
YEs indeed, I find one plus of the cold is I walk faster to stay warm so probably better exercise lOL

Hmm, I suppose it is a good enough reason to motivate me to walk!
Maybe you are going to have to do the Wednesday Dash..... or the Wednesday Walk Around The House while it is that cold LOL... Good shots of winter berries and brave new leaves.
