CHASING BUTTERFLIES #WEDNESDAYWALK #MAKEMESMILE
Hello to all you wonderful people #wednesdaywalk and #makemesmile.
Thanks to @tattoodjay and @elizacheng, we have a beautiful venue to express ourselves and enjoy a small part of our day with friends here on #steemit.
Here in Upstate NY, the weather was so much nicer than it was a few days ago when is was so hot and humid, it was tough to get out and walk. But today was sunny, and much cooler, with low humidity, so off I went, camera in hand in search of butterflies.
I really enjoy observing and #photographing nature. It's peaceful. AND so beautiful, it really does #makemesmile. Hope your enjoy my butterflies as much as I did during my #wednesdaywalk.
They really seem to enjoy the tiger lilies
The tiger lilies run wild here, but this yellow lily I planted 5 years ago. This guy is having breakfast.
As I walked past another flower #garden, I kicked up a whole bunch of butterflies that swarmed around me then settled in this muddy little patch. So cool! My hubby @thebigsweed thought that they may have been mating.
Caught another one just hanging out.

Wow! fantastic photographs of these Swallowtail butterflies. I always consider it a great day when I am able to photograph butterflies. Darn things will not pose for me.

I'd love to have so many butterflies flying around on one meadow. Then it would be easier to photograph one ;)
