Wednesday Walk - My Morning Walk in Benjakiti Park !!
This morning i decided i would go for a walk around Benjakiti Park in Bangkok as i didn't have to report to the office today , so i made my way out the door and took the back way to this park from my apartment this park is about 2 km away which is a nice walk on it's own. The park is really huge but they only have about 3 or 4 entrances into the park for security reasons.
Here i go pass one of the gates which is closed and still about less then one kilometer away from one of the main gate entrances.
Passing by a unusual twin header palm tree.
These coach buses i find very fascinating and interesting with all the graffiti painted on them very popular in Thailand some great art work i must say.
The day has started of a bit cloudy but still a warm feeling in the air and here i am arrived at one of the main entrances gate.
The first thing i see walking down one of the pathways in this park is this beautiful coiling dragon statues which was donated by the Singaporean people to the Thailand people representing good luck and good health.
And of course a park isn't a beautiful park without a few beautiful flower and lush gardens around.
Walking further into the park i see these cannonball looking seeds lined up on this concrete slab wall , looks like someone has placed them on this concrete slab wall , maybe kids playing with them , they certainly look interesting fallen of these palm like looking trees almost look like a huge eatable fruit but wouldn't like to try eating them.
Nice little park area for the kids to have a bit of a play as you can see the kid is enjoying himself there.
This was just a beautiful green lush little garden area just to relax and maybe read a book in the hut area and enjoy the views.
Another beautiful enormous old oak tree providing some nice shade.
Benjakiti Park provides one of the best scenical walkways , running track and bike track that attracts a fair number of joggers every morning and early evening it stretches for two kilometers around the lake.
Riding and texting the way to go head on into a collision.
They have a plank wooden podium built around the man made lake that you can simply sit on the benches and enjoy the evening sunsets , do you workouts from or maybe just a bit of photographing.
If you are really feeling energetic you can hire a small row boat or paddle boat and cruise around the lake.
As the morning moves on the skies are clearing up , the day is getting warmer and the park is getting full of beautiful vibes.
Benjakiti Park occupies 130 rai (some 21 hectares) The park is well know for it's relatively large lake surrounded on all sides by well-groomed flower bushes and trees a very photogenic scenery.
Benjakiti Park i got to say is arguably Bangkok’s prettiest green space in Central Bangkok you can enjoy peace , tranquility or just romantic sunset stroll.
And that was my beautiful Wednesday Morning Walk and i am taking this flower home with me.
Thank you @tattoodjay for #wednesdaywalk challenge it's certainly giving me more of a boost to get out there and see the beautiful things around us.
