Our son has been battling a fever and to make things worse we experienced a power outage. So we packed up the pickup with pillows and blankets and headed out for a family drive. A trip to the mountains.

@ronafe, Roque and Daddy William headed out for the mountains. As soon as we got on our way, our son seemed to be in better humor. Freaks air and the beauty of God’s Creation, enjoyed with family. A recipe for something great.

Our first stop and a short walk.

Just a short hike and the discovery of some assorted anemones. Nice bright colors.

Also the bloom of an ochre is really pretty amazing.

The wind was blowing very hard, making photography of the flowers a challenge.

We brought a lunch with us and it was a great spot for lunch, but then we headed to much higher ground for a stroll through the overlook. This is the first time our son smiled and chatted some. It was worth going here, just for that.

The air was clear and perfect for a great view. At this point we are near the top of Mount Malindang Philippines. The view below is two cities and the bay.
