A day outside...
Today I am going to share with you one of the walks that I took with my son during the summer. I am sharing it as part of #wednesdaywalk which is sponsored by @tattoodjay to encourage us to get out and take a walk to notice our surroundings.
Look down the hill. We are headed to the lake. When we headed down the hill, we weren't sure if we could reach the lake from that spot.
Here's a spot that we can get down by the water!
This is one of those spots that you can only enjoy on a very calm day. The lake was so calm that day! It was just beautiful! If the waves had been big, we would not have been able to get to the shore.
I'm really not sure what kind of rock this is, but I love the color. There is blue swirling through it. If anyone knows why, or what it is, I would love to know. I took the photo because I thought it was beautiful.
Lots of rocks on this beach...
There really wasn't a traditional beach to walk on...just lots of rock to climb...or rocks to walk on in the water.
I would love that piece of driftwood in my garden!
Let's climb over the rock and go a little further.
Look closely! There is a freighter way out there.
Time to head back up the hill.

Yes...it is on Lake Superior.

howdy there nat-expressions! oh NOW I see how you guys are able to find rocks on the beach! yes, the entire beach IS rocks not sand. I get it now. Thanks for this post so now I understand completely!
