My neighbor had a stroke in August. She is 80 years old, and all summer she was walking 7 miles everyday. She is now doing a mile and hoping to regain her stamina. There are some isolated sections of the road that she has wisely decided she should not walk alone and I have volunteered to keep her company if she wants to go on those lonely stretches of road. She is an amazing woman.
