Please don't go ...
Every year, all over again. After a long winter, I'm drawn to this city, toward the warm and the sun, toward the spring. And every autumn, I'm drawn there again, to extend wonderful summer-like days before the nature will became gloomy and gray for long, endless months.
Odessa
Let's walk today with @tattoodjay. He is a great photographer, curator, and creator of the #WednesdayWalk challenge.
Duke monument is one of the most known landmarks of the city. It is a bronze sculpture to the first Duke of Odessa, Arman Emmanuel du Plessis de Richelieu. They say, it is the first monument in Odessa.
There are a lot of attractive places for any tastes. But today I share pictures of the Sea Port and Sea Station.
Here you can see the monument in the distance, and Lighthouse and a high-rise of new Sea Station.
If you go down the Potemkin Stairs you got directly to the station. there are 2 charming small parks finished just recently on the left and right of the stairs.
And this is it, view of the port. A place I like to walk, listen and observe. I feel very peaceful and nostalgic here.
Seems that this patrol boat started the engine.
Well, I still have a small chance to get there this year. While the weather is still nice. I just wish the summer never ends, but I know that otherwise I'd not be so happy to meet a new year circle every spring.
I want to finish my post with the song that is familiar to every Ukrainian (and those who were born in USSR). It is unofficial anthem of the city of Odessa.

I to sometimes wish summer would never end but like you know if it didn’t we would not get to experience the colors and freshness of spring
That's my only consolation, lol
And mine I am not looking forward to winter
I can believe that :) My daughter always look forward to winter after a summer, coz she has a birthday in December, and loves Christmas very much as well :)
I think when your younger and especially if you have a birthday over the Winter months its natural to look forward to it, I used to love all seasons, but as I get older each year. Am liking the harsh winters here less and less each year
They are a very beautiful photos.
Thank you, my friend!
Красиве місто!
Бували там?
так, було діло 🙂
і воно весь час змінюється...

Love the statue in front of that bright yellow building, the port looks massive - so many big boats!
