How do I start loving my weight

Firstly, you should start loving your body the way it is. Your body is uniquely yours and that’s what makes it special. We like all kinds of bodies in our culture and you don’t have to adhere to one specific body type.

Secondly, you shouldn’t compare yourself to the bodies that you see in the magazines or movies or Instagram. Those bodies aren’t like that all the time and they are able to dedicate their whole lives to that pursuit - and it’s not just them in that pursuit. They have a team dedicated to help them achieve that goal. And if they don’t achieve it exactly, usually they will edit the photos to make them that way.

Thirdly, understand that your body isn’t static and stuck the way it is. You can workout to build up certain muscles or control your weight through diet. You can do various workouts to achieve new goals in sports and gain confidence that way.

If you’re trying to gain some weight, you just have to chow down. It’s really as simple as that.

If you’re trying to lose weight that’s a different strategy. I always recommend the following four things in regards to weight loss:

Portion control,
Eating more natural foods (unprocessed foods and no sugary drinks)

Consider intermittent fasting (or time restricted eating) for weight loss, and
Limit your consumption of alcohol
This strategy helped me a lot to lose weight and body fat even though I was dealing with an injury that wasn’t really allowing me to walk normally (without pain), let alone exercise.

Exercise, while important and possibly the best thing for overall health and well-being, isn’t the most effective tool for losing excess weight and body fat.

Don’t forget that weight is just a number, society doesn’t always have the best and healthiest bodies as the ideal body image, and the only judge for you feeling good about yourself should be YOU!0.jpg
