今天头一次跟大家用华语(普通话) 介绍我在星期六在休息期间和朋友们来到这家不是通常游客满桌的芽菜鸡饭店。

通常在马来西亚的怡保美食小城，每个游客都是会到市中心著名的"老黄" ; 但是对于本地人那店已经被高估到连品质也已经不像当时的美味可口了。

所以我当地的朋友就带了我们到这家小小但还是蛮多顾客的店口尝尝本地的味道。

可能我的朋友不是很会叫吧，尽然来了一碟超大的油滑白鸡！虽然是"老水" 了点，但是味道还是不错。

连平时挑剔的朋友们都喜欢芽菜煮出来的口感；再加上怡保本地人喜欢的猪肉円和蒜香饭，还是可以给个好赞。

注: 鸡的摆放看起来真的好大，其实下面是铺满青瓜。

店名叫着［三妈芽菜滑鸡饭］，大概离市中心也有6米左右。
他们每日3-6pm都会暂休。

This is something that I got to remember at all times; when you go out with KL friends, you got to prep them to repent their mindset when they call food in Ipoh.

This is what happened when one of my friends insisted to call for a whole chicken, and the other decide to call a free-range (mature) chicken as well.

Out came this super huge (but quite nice) oil steamed chicken, stacked on top of a pile of wholesome cucumbers; at an out of radar corner of the city of Ipoh in the mid-North Peninsular Malaysia, the state of Perak.

Most of the time when people visits Ipoh, they will always go to the most famouse chicken rice / noodles shop, called "Lou Wong"; but this place for the locals have been overrated and this has become a place for oblivous cut throat tourist to adjourn.

However, one of my friends who has re-settled back in Ipoh found this little joint that quietly made its entrance and win the hearts of the patrons from the nearby suburbs, and so he has decided to take us there.

The place is clean, and to be honest, we still have to take numbers to wait although we came slightly earlier than peak hours.

The garlic rice was neither too soggy nor was it hard, so it became a well received "side dish" (since the chicken was too huge we cut down the rice portion) with some additional pork balls that Ipoh-rians love.

So if you are up for a little drive away from the buzzing city center for a quiet and less hectic meal, you can consider this shop.

Note: This shop closes from 3-6pm daily for the workers to recuperate and ready for the night flock.
