This beach provides a cool sunset and beautiful scenery. Only 3 Km from banda aceh city center.
After the tsunami the beach sand was replaced with long dikes (breakwater) around the beach lip without sand. The surrounding fishing village is gone with the inhabitants
Currently Ulee Lheue beach is also used as a port of fery fast boat to and from Sabang, also used as a tourist spot.
