Witness Update Report #22

Happy almost weekend to all you amazing Steemians, just a quick little catchup from our side.
Our witness server has had no interruptions and purring like a kitten, price feed is stable and we have not missed any block since the last update, things are great in witness sever land. We are also still sitting firmly on the witness list at number 52, and we would really appreciate a vote for witness if you have not done so already.

Some really exciting news, the newest Steem version: v0.20.0 also know as Hard Fork 20, was just released. The hardfork is scheduled for the Tuesday, 25 September 2018 15:00 UTC, when a majority of witnesses decide to adopted the new version. So we will be doing some stability testing over the next few weeks.

ADSactly Steemit Help - Steem Price Drops

Over the past few weeks and months, to be honest, the price of steem has been falling drastically. In fact, it now sits at $0.73 which is a far cry from the $8.00 it achieved during the big boom back in December. Recently, we have been getting a lot of questions about what people should do during these lean times. In case you haven’t realized or are new to the platform, the post rewards and payouts are directly linked to the value of Steem on the market. Therefore, with the price of Steem being so low at the moment, the post payouts are also significantly lower.

This drop in post rewards has caused lots of Steemit users to wither take a break or to walk away from the platform. We believe that this is not the answer. When asked these questions about how to deal with the low rewards and Steem price, we recommend forging on. Keep creating that great content and working on your readership. Practice your craft and become the best Steemit blogger you can be. There are still an incredible number of dedicated users on the platform and this is a wonderful opportunity to grow. The people that follow and support you through these tough times are going to be your loyal supporters when things turn around again. Be the best Steemian you can be and look forward to brighter days on the other side.
