STEEM Developers Witness Proposal - Vote for @steemdevelopers witness
What is STEEM Developers?
STEEM Developers will be a community driven monetized education system for learning application development on the steemit platform. An online school system where not only the educators get paid, but also the students. On the STEEM Developers platform educators can earn payouts for the course material they provide, and students can also earn payouts and rewards on their course submissions, exams, and projects. Incentivized learning is the idea, getting paid to go to school. Also, students who learn to code will more than likely develop applications for Steemit thus continually growing this platform and the blockchain.
Witness Announcement
We are happy to announce that we have decided to launch our witness campaign. Since beginning our initiative we have received a very amazing response from so many people on this platform. Bringing our monetized education system to you guys is something we are constantly working on, and we are hoping to bring our platform within the next few months.
Why a Witness?
During the next few months of development we will need to build our steem power and our steem in order to help facilitate the costs of paying our educators and students once we launch. We have been brainstorming different ways that we can help our platform grow and at the same time help to grow steemit, so becoming a witness was a no-brainer to us.
- We want to show our dedication to the steemit platform.
- The earnings from our witness can be put toward developing our platform.
- Earnings can also be using to payout potential students and educators
- Knowledge and understanding of DPoS to further improve our platform
Our plans
To bring a fulfilling education to end-users while also monetizing their education. We are working every day to make this platform become a reality. Our front-end is currently under development.

Currently there are TONS of inactive accounts who attempted to run witnesses, and have not kept up with it. We think this is unacceptable and we're going to strive to be constantly active in maintaining our witness node. Voting for us means you will know that you are voting for a reliable and competent team of people who understand what we are doing. We will continue to provide quality across all of the work we do for the steemit platform.
How to Vote
To vote our witness all you have to do is goto steemit.com/~witnesses scroll down to the bottom of the page and type in our name "steemdevelopers" and click VOTE. Please refer to the animation below for a visual.

Are you saying these are the values you'll vote for once in the witness network? If that's the case, what are the values currently? Is there a place I can see these, or an RPC call?
@andybets these are the values that my witness is currently set to. The blocksize i chose is uniform across all witnesses, same with the account creation fee and interest rate. My settings are comparable to other witnesses here on steem.
