Consider this post an update to @witnesspage and a basic rundown on all the details for those who haven’t yet heard about this service.
Basically:
All Steemians can simply click on the “Follow” @witnesspage option and all the posts made by our witnesses with the following tags shall show up in your feed:

#witness-category
&
#witness-update
So you can be up to date with all the witness related posts from all our active witnesses via your “Feed”.
The second great thing about @witnesspage is that you can automatically partake in the support of Witnesses by delegating to @witnesspage which automatically upvotes these posts.
So every post put out there by our witnesses that is related to witnesses and or their (our) campaigns is automatically voted on by @witnesspage.
So far the “testing” of the vote percentage has shown that it can be boosted to 27% without any strife of the VP being drained, unless the number of posts starts to dramatically increase, in which case the weight (%) of the vote would have to be adjusted.
So, sometime today after this post has been out there for a while the @witnesspage vote shall be boosted to 27% from its current 7%.

Not a earth shattering amount, however every show of support is always appreciated by all the people who get it for their contributions. In this case for their contributions via fulfilling their moral obligations of ensuring that all Steemians are informed about their activities and stands on relevant topics.
IMO “never enough transparency” as it cuts out a lot of the “hear say” that goes on out there and helps to make a better working environment and increases the quality of the overall Steemian experience!

Hey @jackmiller, thanks for this, it looks like a great service. After the "nijeah affair" of a week or two ago, I've become quite enthralled by the Witnesses and what they do here. As a n00bie plankton, I'm still getting to grips with all of this, so any opportunity to learn more about the role of the Witnesses is great.
It's a two way street as far as responsibilities go, however the solution that was most often relayed to Steemians was to go check the three relevant tags.

Which really isn't a solution, taking into consideration that anyone can use them, which is fine as a general topic, but isn't a solution and answer that helps a Steemian to get what s/he wants.
Can a new member of this blockchain know off the top of their head who is or isn't a witness among all the posts with those tags?
and asking a Steemian to go physically scroll through three different tags and to filter out posts by Witnesses out of the masses, well, tbh. it was something that used to upset me when I wasn't a witness. So one of the line items on my "to do list" was to find a solution to this and make it simple, so that EVERYONE can have ALL the relevant information in front of them with one click.
Hopefully one day Steemit Inc and other whales see the potential @witnesspage is offering to promote and stimulate not only a reliable source of information flow, but also for a way to encourage people to complete all their duties and responsibilities from all sectors of our ecosystem.
All in all, I wish it was around back mid last year, would have my life a lot easier!
