GIRLS? HOW FAKE ARE YOU?

in #woman6 years ago (edited)

I’ll tell you one thing that sucks, not loving yourself enough. I’ll tell you what’s even worse, not flaunting what you have. If you find yourself in both of these categories, babe, PICK A STRUGGLE!! You can’t be battling these two issues at once. I’m not going to tell you you’re one in a million and a special kind. What you do every now and then, with and to yourself separates you from the others. I’m glad to tell you that in this world, 7 million other people are almost exactly like you if not even the same (except physical and slightly different emotional traits). It takes more than effort to stand out. There are a million and one musicians but we only hear those who have proven themselves to be unique and hard working.

There are a billion brands doing the same business but we only hear of those who have made a unique name for themselves. Now, everyone is trying to do the same things others did, or follow steps others followed. Nothing is new anymore and that’s becoming boring.

Girls, lovely, beautiful and DIFFERENTLY made. Let us learn to love the fact that we are different. Starting with our skin colour. Babe? Your black, your brown, your white, your milk, your red skin suits you just right. There’s really no need buying expensive drugs and creams that are harmful, containing a lot of chemicals. If you love yourself enough, you’d love it just the way it is. Studies show that most people who use a lot of skin changing creams and pills, and even make up have very low self-esteem. Why not work on being comfortable in your own skin? You need to see what bleaching cream has done to women in the society. Yellow face with vein green eye bags and a pink forehead. If you see their legs, dark brown and their hands are light brown. This is a result of these chemicals that are harmful to the skin. Some creams, instead of turning you fair, they turn you red and the skin patches and burns will become so obvious. Now imagine a lady with this kind of problem using make up. Unprofessional make up. I see a walking disaster.

There are a lot of girls I know, whose boyfriends have never seen them without make up or padded bra and pants. Morning, afternoon, night, fake. They even sleep with it and wake up too. Some women have poor hair growth because they are always doing different harmful things to it.

Force on the scalp, using fake or bad hair relaxers and creams, hard hands on hair and so on. We resort to buying wigs. Some ladies, if you beg them to give you 5 naira for food, they’ll not give you. But on wigs of 500 thousand, they are willing to spend. What’s happening to our natural hair? Getting a small jar of coconut oil, olive oil and even shear butter will solve the problem. I know how much is spent on make-up and wigs/weaves and if money used on that is saved for three months consecutively, it could open up a small business.

I’ll tell you one thing that catches the eye of a man. CONFIDENCE. Yes baby, it’s called confidence. The way you walk, the way you talk, the way you respond to other people, the way you manage yourself, your charisma, your attitude and yor level of intelligence. Since when did material things start to block traits that we are supposed to naturally have inbuilt?

who says you need big breasts and big bums to be confident or feel sexy? lol, do you even know what women with naturally big assets go through? the worst thing is doing all this for a man who is liable to cheat. A good man and the right man will never ask you to change yourself for him. I was in a company of guys and we discussed this matter. they'd prefer to fondle real breasts and squeeze real buttocks, and play with natural hair. Ben told me he cannot marry a lady who has no confidence in her natural beauty.

Are you skinny and tall, short and plump, slender figured, wide figured, hour glass? Confidence flaunts them all. To get what you want, simply choose clothes that suit your body type and flaunt what your momma gave you. My friend, Demi, had a boyfriend that adored her slender figured. She felt he wanted something bigger ( girls and jumping into conclusion!!!!) so, she ordered for fattening pills ( containing dexamethasone which is used to treat patients with cancer and tumours. Side effects include anxiety, dizziness, fatigue, slow response to stimuli, loss of retention, inability to move fast and weight gain; fat neck, heavy arms and legs, bigger breasts and butt and so on) other drugs containing dexamethasone/cyproheptadine and its other familiar compounds have the same side effects. Is it not better to understand the processes of your body, try to eat more, than go through all this? There are better supplements and syrups that help but work gradually, but women want what works faster. Side effects will happen later, if not now and you won’t like it.

Some ladies go as far as doing surgeries for wider hips, bigger breasts, smaller nose, smaller waist, thicker thighs, and smaller or bigger lips. Some of these things have cures (EXERCISE) and others, we have to learn to deal with. A man who sees you true will love you for who you are.

I’m slim, tall, and brown with short, thick hair. I’ve done zero surgeries and have never used relaxer on my hair. I’m currently struggling with drawing the perfect eye brows. I actually go out without putting powder on, or even lip gloss. But mind you, I have all these things. Most of the time, people tell me I’m better without make up. Even my dad and boo boo. I’m very happy with being confident in my true skin. There’s no place like home.
I’m talking on behalf of guys who want more confident women in our society.
