Tomorrow is international womens day, but what about the rest?
Do you guys also have the feeling that almost every day there is a day dedicated to something. Tomorrow is international womens day, which is on the one hand a good thing..but on the other hand when is the international mens day?
Day of the volunteer, day of the trainer, day of the director, day of the secretary, really we can make a dedicated day for almost everything.

I am getting confused by these kinds of things. Is it because for instance 1 or 2 workfield got an international appreciation day, that other field all of a sudden also wanted 'their own'day. Not because they actually wanted it, but because others had one of their own, and because of that, they want it as well.
15 February is the day of the scrubnurse, 12 May is the day of the nurse, but does the anasthesia nurse also have their own day? You guys get what I am trying to say, its just goes on and on I find.
And what exactly does it say? Not too much right? Sending some mandatory flowers never made anyone happy in the end. I have a nice exception here in the form of the most coolest thank you video for surgical staff. Yes, it is in German, but that is a proper-poetic thank you. If this is how you thank your team, then you are a great leader yourself.

Object strongly. International Woman's Day is there to create discourse around why woman have been oppressed and subjugated and disadvantaged historically and why they continue to be. It's men's day every fucking day. Especially white men. So when they are in that position where they are disadvantaged for their birth they can have a day too. It's not about flowers and chocolates.

well the point itself was not entirely about womans day itself, but more that everything has to be described it feels.. I will absolutely not argue with you on the chances and rights of women, dont worry ;)))
