CABINET MAKER X #43 Oak Shoe Rack Part 2
Hi DTube Woodwork Fans,
Welcome back to part two.
I have now assembled the shoe rack and added the front lipping.
I have also made the oak top which has cleats. Cleats are a traditional way to keep table tops flat but they must be done correctly or the top will split.
I must now polish the shoe rack with clear glaze.
In the next stage I will be installing on site.
I would love to hear you thoughts and feedback.
Would you like more in depth tutorials or do you prefer watching projects in the form of a vlog?
Would you prefer longer videos and if so what length would you suggest?
I highly recommend that you make DTube videos to show us any woodworking projects you are working on.
If you have any technical questions give me a shout on the woodworking discord channel.

If you have any questions about woodwork, furniture or being self employed as a crafts person let me know.
I know my wood and I have spent years teaching myself furniture making , furniture history as well as living it as a self employed cabinet maker .
I am also in the process of writing a

Which you can read here;

Part 4: Deciding what type of woodwork you are going to do.
Part 5: Advertising and getting customers
Part 6: Dealing with Customers.
Still I am learning every day and the journey is the point.
