Word Poetry Challenge #13 : "Fear"

Love is like holding an egg,
Don't squeeze too hard or it will break,
Don't hold it too loose or it will fall,
How should I love you my girl?

Sizzling egg in the morning plate,
Before you're even awake,
So afraid you'll be late,
Or leave with a hungry palate.

As you rise from bed, everything's inorder
Hot water to the tub till your towel,
Shiny shoes and put away the litter,
Anything for my sweetheart to cheer.

Just a sweet smile from you is enough,
To lighten my world so rough,
Though I act so tough,
I'm enslave by your craft.

One lazy afternoon as I pick your flowers,
As what I'll do for you forever,
When a sweet couple had caught my attention,
So inlove with great affection.

My world was turned upside down,
As my fear mocked me like a clown,
So afraid to see the reality,
That could make me lose my sanity.

As I caught your eyes for a second,
The very same eyes I will love till beyond,
So full of happiness,
That caused me an unbearable sadness.

I walked away without a word,
As I question my worth,
I spent my life full of fear,
The fear of losing you forever my dear.

Maybe my greatest mistake,
Putting my heart at stake,
For someone who never bothered to take,
To lose me will be her greatest mistake.
