Located on the largest island in the Philippines, Banau's rice fields are often taken as the perfect example of harmony between human activity and nature.
No wonder this area is also known as the "Eighth World Miracle".
Some of these bushes have been built 2,000 years ago by the young people who used the heavy rainfall to cultivate their main and most important production; rice.
For two thousand years rice is the main product of the area. By age, but also the footage offered, these banners are considered miracles of ancient agro-cultural engineering and are on the list of UNESCO protected areas.
If they were to extend to a linear line, the length of these bushes would go up to 20 thousand and 100 kilometers, or more or less to half of the globe.
