In To The Heart Of Worship
To better understand worship or how to worship ,the book of John tells it all as it is.
John 4:23-24
(23)Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.
(24)God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth."
Remember the bible reminds us that we are a spirit, we have a soul and we live in a body.
The body is confined to this earth , the Saul helps us to think, feel taste ,be hungry, smell , hear but the spirit is what gives us life ,the spirit cannot be destroyed .
It belongs to God and thus will always do what is contrary to the will of God, that is why God expects us to worship in truth and in spirit since it's more effective in the spirit.
