তাপৎপাদী বিক্রিয়া:-
যে বিক্রিয়ায় তাপশক্তি উৎপন্ন হয়, তাকে তাপৎপাদী বিক্রিয়া বলে।

তাপহারী বিক্রিয়া:-
যে বিক্রিয়ায় তাপশক্তি শোষণ হয়, তাকে তাপৎপাদী বিক্রিয়া বলে।

জারণ বিক্রয়া :-
যে বিক্রিয়ায় ইলেক্ট্রন ত্যাগ হয় তাকে জারণ বিক্রিয়া বলে।

রাসায়নিক বিক্রিয়ায় তাপের পরিবর্তন এর ব্যাখ্যা:-
রাসায়নিক বিক্রয়ায় তাপশক্তির যে পরিবর্তন যটে সেটি ব্যাখ্যা করার জন্য বিজ্ঞানী হেবার বোস এক মোল নাইট্রোজেন ও তিন মোল হাইড্রোজেন তাপ ও চাপে একত্রিত করে। ফলে অ্যামোনিয়া গ্যাস উৎপন্ন হয় এবং 92kj শক্তি উৎপন্ন হয়, উক্ত বিক্রিয়ার বিজ্ঞানী হেবার বোস 450® থেকে 550® এবং 200 থেকে 250 atm চাপ দিয়ে থাকেন। এই রাসায়নিক বিক্রিয়াকে তরান্বিত করার জন্য (fe) চূর্ণকে প্রভাবক হিসেবে ব্যাবহার করেন। এক সময় তাপমাত্রা বাড়ালে তাপশক্তি শোষিত হয় তাই আমরা বলতে পারি রাসায়নিক বিক্রয়ায় তাপের প্রভাব ব্যাপক ভূমিকা রাখে।
বিজারণ বিক্রয়া :-
যে বিক্রিয়ায় ইলেক্ট্রন গ্রহণ করে তাকে বিজারণ বিক্রিয়া বলে।
উদাহরণ:- পরে দেওয়া হবে..
জারণ সংখ্যা :-
কোনো যৌগের পরমাণুতে অবস্থিত ধনাত্নক বা ঋণাত্নক চিহ্নযুক্ত সংখ্যাকে জারণ সংখ্যা বলে।
নিচে কয়েকটি মৌলের জারণ সংখ্যা দেওয়া হলো:-
Na=+1
K=+1
NH4=+1
H=+1
Cl=-1
Ca=+2
Mg=+2
O=-2
So4=-4
