INCURSION - Resistance (PT.5)

As the armed group led us back through the twisting tunnels all I could think about were the last words their leader spoke
"Welcome to true Earth prime"
I was not so sure what she meant by that. Rational thinking at the kept on bringing me back to one thing that this might be the true origin of the federation and the earth hopping technology. After all they were able to get us there easy enough.

I couldn't help but think how stunned Jasmine must be if she came to the same conclusion it would turn her whole world up. We walked in silence for what seemed like forever until their leader broke it
"You must have a lot of questions those can wait. I do know I can confirm one thing my people were the ones who created the world hopping technology"
Even though she answered none of my questions so many others came rushing to the surface. I tried asking some of them but she shut me up.

"Look I will tell you briefly how we were wiped from history."
Apparently everyone on Earth x, that is what they call their Earth, had to move underground. The surface got poisoned by their rapid growth and disregard for the environment and is not habitable anymore. Before it got to bad on the surface the people of Earth x were able to create a giant network of tunnels of caverns using natural ones and man made ones to live in. This was not a good environment for them the people were dying and if this kept up they all would all but die.

Their drive to survive drove them to developed a highly experimental technology to travel to other Earths. It worked marvelously and the people on the Earth they traveled to were nice. The two Earths developed an exchange of technology and knowledge which included the Earth jumping tech. This new earth, which is now earth prime saw potential in this world jumping technology.

Earth prime quickly made a move to take control of the situation and the technology. They rounded up the people of Earth X and sent them back to their own earth keeping a few of them people to improve the world jumping.
"Earth prime may have brought us back but they left an army to guard us and monitor our movements. We are essentially prisoners on our own planet not to mention they wiped our all mention of us in every thing in history."
They fact that Earth prime was able to do that and did do that makes me hate and fear them all the more.
"We are the resistance our numbers are not great enough for a straight up fight but we have a plan in motion to end the tyranny"
