Progress Is Progress
I've been on steemit for about a month or so and i see a lot of great things about the platform but let's be honest, there are a lot of not so good things about it. From the looks of it, they've been going on since time immemorial.
One of the things that caught my eye was how unequal rewards are. Literally saw someone getting about 400 steem a day by making 10 posts of regurgitated content off the web. As you go down the rabbit-hole, another user floating in the same circle makes 100-200 steem posting similar content. The vote values are pretty much all from one whale.
The inequity aside, i've come to learn to swim in my own lane and get a steem or two a day. Compound the earnings and decide how much to power-up. As to whether to invest more, i'll have to think about it.
