i'm writing this letter, sending it out to the internet vacuum where it will hopefully reach you, and transmitting such warm thoughts through the universal wavepost (express service, of course), to express my gratitude to you. because you, on top of some other musical souls i've encountered, lit up the inner lyrical singer in me. we met under such natural circumstances, was it meant to be?...

you on the piano, surrounded by your myriad of fans and me, on the other side, absorbing the energy like a smiling sponge. your brown wavy hair complements your almost womanly persona, though i am aware that you're still studying at the academy. your slender fingers bounce off each key with much intent, as if you are asserting your power over the instrument. the melodies came and they went, flowing like a great river, endlessly creating new sounds and burying them in the deep blue ocean. i saw you from afar, and your magical presence resonated with a chord within myself. don't you see, we are from the same clan? the same clan of people who do not succumb, who are not afraid of sailing to the uncharted territories. i admire your fearlessness, your confidence in who you are. it was simple, wasn't it? you can hear the music of life, can't you?

shot after shot, we didn't waver. we stood by our platform, and i continued to play the mouthpiece. we sang with much fervour. our vigor could not be suppressed as they kept pouring us more becherovka. we are the usual jazzpects, whose inner flames burn with passion for life. for love. for experiences. for the transcendental. you say i understand "it"? and so, here's my reply. we will continue to meet more of us, who understand "it". we will sing our songs of sorrow, and help shape the consciousness of our fellow generation. we shall lead the way.

thank you, for giving me my very own mouthpiece. i keep it next to me, dearly. occasionally, when i sing into it, i will think of you and our second natural meeting. was it our innate clairvoyance? serendipity has been playing on my team for a while now, so i'm not surprised. i hope to meet you again on our journeys.
