Cuando se habla del retrato fotográfico, generalmente no echamos un vistazo, e intentamos ver a los auténticos precursores: aquellos pintores, que desde los siglos XIV en adelante, contribuyeron, con su espléndida habilidad, a hacer de la pintura y el retrato, verdaderas obras maestras.

En tal sentido, y por su grado de belleza, perfección y realismo, podría decirse, sin inducir a error, que ellos fueron, en realidad, los verdaderos precursores de un arte, la Fotografía y una especialidad, el Retrato, que tanta pasión despiertan hoy en día.

When it comes to the photographic portrait, we usually don't take a look, and we try to see the real forerunners: those painters, who from the 14th century onwards, contributed, with their splendid skill, to making painting and portraiture, true masterpieces.

In this sense, and for their degree of beauty, perfection and realism, it could be said, without inducing error, that they were, in reality, the true precursors of an art, the Photography and a specialty, the Portrait, which awakens so much passion today.
