This requires so much work I think! The worlds you're creating and the characters in them - it's just mind blowing and I wish I had your talents! Thanks for your support on my recent posts - it's invaluable. There's so much stuff to upvote, I can't keep up sometimes and the power goes down fast! anyways, just had moment to drop by and show my appreciation. Steem on!
Thank you, I really do appreciate your visit. I've tried to express elsewhere why I do support you and what you're doing. I was just looking back at my older posts trying to grab my Steemit for Newbs series which I'm going to revive on dbooks, but I've learned so much more since my last edition of the series that it's barely going to resemble the last one... The point was that my posts looked to paltry (in earnings) compared to what I'm able to generate now.)
These city maps - even now that I've (mostly) learned how to bully GIMP into doing what I want it to do - are taking two episodes of Supernatural to complete. (Seriously, I do them while catching up on episodes. It's the right sort of brain power to go along with watching something.) The country maps are much more involved. I am hoping this will be the last major rework of the maps though. (I still technically need a couple more continents - there's not supposed to be any "undiscovered" territories at this time in Terrenden history - so there are some continents which have not yet been mentioned - or have barely been mentioned. But this gives lots of scope for future work... which was the goal of creating Terrenden - a world which could host almost any piece of fiction I ever want to write! (And it is close to that - and I have ways of tying Earth into Terrenden when I have to use Earth.
BTW, I actually have you on autovote now - well, two posts daily, anyway. I'm running through my VP too quickly. I can't remember the last time I had my full 0.02 to give to people! (At least a week and a half, I think) - so, I had to stop autovoting for a few people. I'm getting so close to 0.03 though - that's exciting at this stage of the game!
Anyway, keep up the great work, buddy. I know there's quite a few of us who wholeheartedly support what you've been doing.
@viking-ventures 🙏 People will recognize your stories and it's a matter of time. Steemians like you deserve to be read daily. Gimp is kind of complicated but it's open source and it's useful! I can be proud of someone like you learning this stuff :) Keep up the good work and thank you.
