Recently I have been doing a lot of thinking; not the type where you keep your tiny/muscular palms under your cheek and wonder why the world hates you, but the type where you relax and think of all the good that has come your way in recent times.

Now it’s not surprising to me that I easily make friends, pretty ones at that, and there were times when all that was pleasant about such friendships were the dates, gists, outings or the very few intimate moments. There is a saying that when you meditate on something long enough, then nature just has a way of ensuring it delivers to you the cogitations of your heart. Not even mother nature can take your innermost obsessions away from you.

This explains why a chain smoker will necessarily always have friends with a similar predilection. It just shows that your circle truly defines you, giving more authenticity to the proverb:

Show me your friends and I will tell you who you are.

It just goes to show that the sum total of what your life is about can be gotten from a very brief observation of those you spend your idea of “quality time” with.

The best part I love about nature is the law of NATURAL SELECTION: where people that have no business being in your sphere sooner than later move up the chain without you or fall off your radar. This part about life makes it easy to choose the right friends and be in the right spaces.

HOW DO I FACTOR INTO ALL THIS?

In the last 1 year, I have added a whole new family of ladies into my friend register, and it seems the more they come the prettier they are. Here is the part about this that gets me excited about meeting these ladies these days…

They are less concerned about how handsome my face and more concerned with how rich my mind is.

So you always will find me in the company of such ladies discussing the way forward with life, not necessarily “marriage”, but how we will conquer the world with business ideas worth a million bucks.

Tonight I had one of such discussions again with another gorgeously created lady and whilst she was speaking I got past her perfectly carved lips, awesome cheekbones, dreamy eyes and her other lady accessories and got enslaved by the wisdom that poured out from her mind. It was funny because I had to rush home from the church service that just ended, but couldn’t bring my leg to move.

At the end of the day after we found a way to end the discussion and say our goodbyes for the night, I sent her this text:

Thank you so very much for the talk today. I am deeply grateful. It’s not every day you have such business-minded discussions with a pretty lady you could sell your left kidney to date/wife

And she replied me with this:

You’re very welcome. Thanks for letting me pick your brain.
